摘　　要：因海而生、依海而兴,威海以“威震海疆”而取名,海洋是威海最大的特色优势。海洋给予威海得天独厚的资源禀赋,威海也以向海图强的努力回馈着它。“科学用海、科技兴海、产业强海、生态护海、开放活海”擘画出威海迈向海洋强市的蓝色畅想。Emerging and thriving by the sea,the city got its name Weihai because of the phrase"Imposing Presence in the Coastal Area"("Wei Zhen Hai Jiang"in Chinese).The sea is Weihai'sbiggestadvantage.The sea gives Weihai advantaged resources,and Weihai presents the efforts to enhance marine strength in return.Thefive orientations of"scientific use,S&Tdevelopment,industrial construction,ecological protection,and opening-up&vitalization of the sea"manifestWeihai'sbluedreamof building itself into a strong maritime city.
