摘　　要：英语翻译工作的目标在于实现跨民族、跨文化的信息有效传递。隐喻不仅是修辞手法,同时也是一种语言形式,是一种非正式、非常态的语言表达行为,在英语文学、日常交流中隐喻的使用都较为常见。基于此,文章从认知语言学角度出发,挖掘了隐喻的内涵,阐述了认知语言学对英语隐喻翻译的影响与方法,并针对性提出基于认知语言学的英语隐喻翻译思路,旨在为译者进行翻译时提供参考与帮助。The goal of English translation is to achieve effective transmission of information across ethnicities and cultures.Metaphor is not only a rhetorical device,but also a language form,an informal and unconventional language expression behavior.Metaphors are commonly used in English literature and daily communication.Based on this,this article,from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,explores the connotation of metaphor,elaborates on the influence and methods of cognitive linguistics on English metaphor translation,and proposes targeted approaches to English metaphor translation based on cognitive linguistics,aiming to provide reference and assistance for translators when translating.
