中国英语学习者不同体裁口头表达句法复杂度的对比研究

摘　　要：本文在句法复杂度的语域功能观指导下,通过因子分析和贝叶斯多元回归方法,对比大学英语四、六级考生在不同体裁口头表达中的句法复杂度差异。研究结果表明:1)口头论述与口头讨论文本的因子差异主要体现在被动语态复杂度、动词短语复杂度、名词补足语复杂度、连词and结构复杂度和连词or结构复杂度五个方面,这说明文本体裁影响学习者口头产出句法结构的使用;2)在口头论述中,限定词复杂度、介词宾语复杂度、被动语态复杂度、动词短语复杂度和名词做修饰语复杂度可显著预测学习者的口语水平;在口头讨论中,直接宾语复杂度、介词宾语复杂度、介词数量复杂度和所有格复杂度可显著预测学习者的口语水平,这说明在不同体裁的口头文本中,区分不同水平学习者句法复杂度的特征有所不同。Under the guidance of the register-functional approach to syntactic complexity,this study used factor analysis and Bayesian multiple regression to explore the syntactic differences between oral texts of two genres sampled from CET-SET Bands 4 and 6.The results indicate the following:1)The factor differences between oral argumentation and discussion in syntactic complexity mainly lie in complexities of the passive structure,verb modifier,nominal complement,conjunction“"and"structure,and conjunction“or"structure,suggesting that genre affects the use of syntactic structures.2)In oral argumentation,complexities of the determiner,object of the preposition structure,passive structure,verb modifier and noun modifier can significantly predict oral proficiency.In oral discussion,complexities of the direct object,object of the preposition structure,the number of prepositions and possessive can significantly predict oral proficiency,implying that the distinguishing features of syntactic complexity that significantly predict L2 oral quality differ in thetwo genres.
