摘　　要：鲁迅是20世纪中国最重要的作家之一,他的生命历程伴随着中国现代化的进程,“伟大的文学家、思想家和革命家”不仅是对鲁迅的权威评价,也曾是鲁迅研究的起点和最终旨归。随着社会语境和学术思潮的变迁,如何为“大写的鲁迅”找到“小写”的层次,进而还原鲁迅的丰富性和多面性,逐渐成为海内外学者共同的追求。对英语世界的读者和研究者而言,鲁迅不仅具有文学层面和思想层面的“典范”意义,更是其了解中国社会历史变革的一个有效的窗口。鲁迅的作品始终是英语世界现代文学译介的重心之一,与之相伴相生的,是对“鲁迅神话”的祛魅,对鲁迅研究格局的改写,对业已符号化的鲁迅遗产的释放,对主流文学史叙述所遮蔽或压抑的鲁迅“私人领域”的再发现。以最大程度地还原鲁迅的生平真实,补足了鲁迅一身多面的形象,使其成为一个“可信的人”。Lu Xun is one of the most influential writers in twentieth-century China.His life was deeply associated with the trajectory of China’s modernization."A great man of letters,a great thinker and revolutionary"as well as"the chief commander of China’s literary revolution"were more than the authorized labels of Lu Xun,but the rules and paradigms followed by researchers who studied Lu Xun and his works.How to reevaluate Lu Xun and his cultural legacy,and how to emancipate Lu Xun from political discourses have drawn attention from scholars within and outside China.For English readers and researchers,Lu Xu serves as an ideal window through which they can look into the great changes in China at literary,cultural,social and historical levels.Therefore,Lu Xun’s works,including but not limited to fictions,poems,and prose pieces,have always been popular among English translators of moder Chinese literature.Though the second half of last century,many scholarly attempts were taken in order to disillusion the"Lu Xun’s miracle,"to rediscover Lu Xun’s literary legacy,to recast the paradigm of Lu Xun study,and to craft a new image of Lu Xun as a reliable"normal"person with his own tastes and worldly emotions,and literary and artistic pursuits,which has long been repressed by the mainstream political discourse.
