Objective To explore the difference between yin and yang meridian acupoints selected acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke hemiplegia. Methods Seventy-eight patients with post-stroke hemiplegia who met the research criteria were randomly divided into group A and group B,with 39 cases in each group.Group A was treated with ordinary acupuncture, and group B was treated with acupuncture at acupoints of yin and yang meridians for 3 courses. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of muscle tension in group B was 89.74%(35/39),which was significantly higher than 71.79%(28/39)in group A(P<0.05).After treatment, the Fugl-Meyer scores of the upper and lower limbs and total scores of the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the scores in group B were significantly higher than those in group A(P<0.05).There were no serious adverse reactions in the two groups. Conclusion Acupuncture at acupoints of yin and yang meridians and ordinary acupuncture are both effective for post-stroke hemiplegia.Compared with ordinary acupuncture, acupuncture at acupoints of yin and yang meridians can more effectively improve the spasticity and limb function of the affected side.
