先秦乐论与音乐人类学的不谋而合

摘  要:中国先秦思想家对音乐和国家礼乐制度的关系做过很多精辟论述。先秦乐论不只是讨论音乐问题而多涉音乐与“礼”、与伦理和国家政体—制度史等问题,因此乐论是先秦思想史和哲学史关注的一个重大主题。先秦乐论的哲学和美学思想暗合了人类文明和世界音乐史溯源的一些经典理论探讨,特别在音乐起源和功能研究方面跟古希腊乐论多有值得比较研究之处。19世纪兴起的人类学和其后的比较音乐学、民族音乐学为乐论研究提供了新的方法和思路。结合史前学方法,音乐人类学对音乐起源、音乐的符号意义和功能等课题进行了世界性文明的综合探讨,对先秦音乐美学和文化意义的研究作出了突出的贡献。Chinese thinkers before the Qin Dynasty have made many incisive discussions on the relationship between music and the national ritual and music system.The pre-Qin music theory not only discusses music issues,but also involves issues such as music and"etiquette",ethics,and the history of national political systems;Therefore,the theory of music is a major theme of concern in the history of pre-Qin thought and philosophy.The philosophical and aesthetic ideas of pre-Qin music view are in line with some classic theoretical explorations of human civilization and world music history,especially in the study of the origin and function of music,which is worth comparing with ancient Greek music view.The rise of anthropology in the 19th century and subsequent comparative musicology and ethnomusicology provided new methods and ideas for the study of music view.Combining prehistoric methods,music anthropology has conducted a comprehensive exploration of global civilization on topics such as the origin of music,the symbolic meaning and function of music,and has made outstanding contributions to the study of the aesthetic and cultural significance of pre-Qin music.
