摘  要:阐述正离子中子管存在二次电子发射率高,束流单原子离子比例低的问题。若采用负离子引出则可避免上述问题。设计了一款采用潘宁离子源负离子引出打靶的中子管,在90kV的靶压下,实现了最大16μA的引出束流,中子产额最高达到1.32×108n/s。利用3支中子管分别进行4h的连续打靶,实验表明,开始时产额随打靶时间缓慢上升,在130min左右产额达到最大值,随后开始缓慢下降。整个过程中的中子产额始终稳定在1.15×108n/s以上,理论分析表明其靶流中电子占比约为70%,而氘负离子占比约为30%。This paper explains that positive ion neutron tube has two shortcomings,one is the secondary electrons problem and the other is the low proportion of monatomic ions in extracting beams.These two problems can be avoided by extracting negative ions.In this study,a kind of negative neutron tube with penning ion source was designed.With the target voltage 90kV,the maximal target current and neutron yield attain 16μA and 1.32×108n/s,respectively.Three negative ion tubes were tested and each one worked about 4 hours continuously.The results show that the target current will increase slowly at the begin of shorting time.The maximal target current occurs when shorting time reach to 130 minuets.Then,it will decrease slowly with shorting time increase.In whole process,the target current keeps no less than 1.15×108n/s stably.Theoretical analysis reveals that the proportion of electrons and positive deuterium ions in target current are about 70%and 30%,respectively.
