摘 要:采用混合灵敏气体正比计数器可实现中子周围剂量当量率仪的轻便化设计,同时也是日益昂贵的3He正比计数器的一种有效替代。本工作采用丙烷、氮气为混合灵敏气体,聚乙烯作为慢化层的设计方案,并通过MCNP程序模拟计算直径为100 mm的球形正比计数器能量响应性能。结果表明:通过调整丙烷、氮气的比例为3:1,设置聚乙烯慢化层厚度为10 mm,可使探头在热中子~20 MeV范围内的能量响应性能满足“2因子区间”要求,可实现对基于混合灵敏气体正比计数器的中子周围剂量当量率仪探头的性能优化。根据设计方案制作探测器样机,在252Cf源标准辐射场中实现了对中子周围剂量当量的有效测量。The use of mixed sensitive gas proportional counters can achieve a lightweight design of neutron ambient dose-equivalent meters,and is also an alternative to 3He proportional counters which is increasingly expensive.In this paper,propane and nitrogen are used as the mixed sensitive gas,and polyethylene is used as the moderator.Under the design scheme,the energy response performance of a spherical proportional counter with a diameter of 100 mm is simulated and calculated by the MCNP program.The results show that by adjusting the ratio of propane and nitrogen to 3:1,and setting the thickness of the moderator to 10 mm,the energy response in the range of thermal neutron~20 MeV can be restricted in the“2-factor interval”.This enables a performance optimization of the neutron ambient dose-equivalent meters based on the mixed sensitive gas proportional counter.According to the design scheme,a prototype of the detector was made.It can effectively measure the neutron ambient dose-equivalent in the standard radiation field of the 252Cf source.
