摘　　要：在1792年早春的某一天,马克西米利安·罗伯斯庇尔写了一封充满激情的信。他在信中愿求他的“朋友”原谅他迟迟不肯回复这些“赞颂”,因为这些赞颂“将会导致骄傲,如果更多温柔和高尚的情感在一个你认为值得信任和尊重的人心中曾留下任何印记的话”。Discussions of the"emotionalism"of the Frenchrevolutionaries run therisk of oversimplifying the"political factions"in history.A study of Robespierre's life shows us that these views constitute his conception of the self,while also demonstrating the profound emotional and political implications of the vivid,shared expression of the self.
