摘 要:以轻烧粉蒸氨-沉镁制得的氢氧化镁(MH)粉末为研究对象,采用油酸和硬脂酸作为MH表面改性剂,通过对比MH改性前后的吸油值和活化指数发现油酸和硬脂酸的最佳改性工艺条件分别为:油酸用量4%(相对MH粉末质量),改性时间为50 min,改性温度为70℃;硬脂酸用量4%(相对MH粉末质量),改性时间为40 min,改性温度为50℃。通过利用改性前后MH的傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、X射线衍射(XRD)和热重分析(TG-DTG)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、水接触角等表征手段及改性MH在乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)中的添加效果分析对比,结果发现用油酸和硬脂酸对MH改性后添加到EVA中,复合材料的氧指数分别提高了0.7%和1.5%,拉伸强度分别提高了2.3 MPa和1.9 MPa,断裂伸长率分别提高了37.8%和31.1%。由此可以说明改性MH可以有效提高EVA的阻燃性能和力学性能。Magnesium hydroxide powder prepared by ammonia evaporation and magnesium sedimentation was studied.Oleic acid and stearic acid were used as surface modifiers for magnesium hydroxide.By comparing the oil absorption value and activation index of magnesium hydroxide before and after modification,it was found that the optimal modification conditions of oleic acid and stearic acid were as follows:the dosage of oleic acid was 4%(relative mass of magnesium hydroxide powder),the modification time was 50 mim,and the modification temperature was 70℃.The dosage of stearic acid was 4%(relative to the mass of magnesium hydroxide powder),the modification time was 40 min,and the modification temperature was 50℃.By using the test of oil absorption value and activation index of magnesium hydroxide before and after modification,Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FTIR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetric analysis(TG-DTG),electron scanning electron microscope(SEM),water contact angle and other characterization methods,as well as the analysis and comparison of the effect of later addition in ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA).The results show when magnesium hydroxide is modified with oleic acid and stearic acid and added to EVA,the oxygen index of the composite is increased by 0.7%and 1.5%,the tensile strength is increased by 2.3 MPa and 1.9 MPa,and the elongation at break is increased by 37.8%and 31.1%,respectively.Therefore,it could be shown that adding magnesium hydroxide modified to ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer could improve the flame retardant and mechanical properties of composite materials.
