A medical plastic hemostatic clip was designed with the shape of“V”structure, and the plastic hinge and buckle structure were adjusted.Poly(lactic acid)(PLA)was selected as the matrix material, epoxy soybean oil(ESO)and hydroxyapatite(HA)were added for modification,PLA/ESO/HA composite was prepared and its mechanical properties were tested. The effects of PLA modification before and after modification were compared by finite element analysis and 3D printing hemostatic clip. The results show that the PLA/ESO/HA composite with 3%HA has the best comprehensive properties, and the tensile strength and elastic modulus are 18.7%higher and 34.6%lower than PLA.The PLA/ESO/HA composite simulated stress distribution of the hemostatic clip is uniform, and the maximum stress of the plastic hinge and buckle is reduced by 61.2%and 32.7%,respectively,comparing with the simulation results of PLA material. The PLA hemostatic clip obtained from the printing operation has a low yield rate due to fracture, while the PLA/ESO/HA composite hemostatic clip can achieve good closure. This conclusion is consistent with the simulation results and has clinical application prospects.
