摘　　要：中国经济正在经历前所未有的发展速度,经济高速发展的同时也带来一系列的社会问题,人口老龄化就是其中之一。老龄化带来的一系列问题和人们的生活有着密切的联系。现有的建筑设计无法满足人口老龄化发展的需要,老年人不愿意离开自己生活了几十年的老房子、老社区。老房子的设施无法满足老年人的需求,卫浴空间是居室空间中重要的一部分,通用设计理念运用在老年人卫浴空间,能使老年人的生活更加安全、方便、舒适,通用设计在居住空间和社区建设等方面的应用需要适应时代的发展,使当前老年人卫浴空间设计更加完善。China's economy is experiencing an unprecedented speed of development.The rapid economic development also bringsaseriesof social problems,one of which isthe aging population.A seriesof problemsbrought by aging are closely related to people's life.The existing architectural design cannot meet the needs of the aging population development,and the elderly are reluctant to leave the old houses and communities where they have lived for decades.The facilities of the old house can not meet the needs of the elderly,and the bathroom space is an important part of the living space.The application of universal design concept in the elderly bathroom space can make the life of the elderly more safe,convenient and comfortable.T he application of universal design in the living space and community construction needs to adapt to the development of the times and make the current elderly bathroom space design more perfect.
