摘  要:In 1409,the seventh year underthe reign of Emperor Yongle(1403-L1424)during theMingDynasty(1368-1644),when the capital was still in Nanjing,Emperor Yongle began to build a tomb for himself in Tianshou Mountain in Changping.From then on until the dynasty's last emperor Chongzhen(reign:1628-1644)was buried in the Siling Mausoleum,13 mausoleums had been built successively during the period of more than 230 years,collectively known as the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty.Among them,the tomb of Emperor Shenzong(Zhu Yijun,also known as Emperor Wanli,1563-1620),the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty,is called Dingling Mausoleum and is located at the foot of Dayu Mountain in Changping to the southwest of the Changling Mausoleum.
