摘　　要：The Old Drunkard's Pavilion,an edifice celebrated throughout history,is prettily situated at the foot of Mount Langya,southwest of Chuzhou City,in Anhui Province.Itis one of the"Four Major Pavilions of China'the other three being the Taoran Pavilion in Beijing,the Aiwan Pavilion in Changsha and the Huxin Pavilion in Hangzhou.The pavilion's incomparable reputation derives in large part from the immortal essay"The Old Drunkard's Pavilion"by Ouyang Xiu(1007-1072),minister of the Northern Song Dynasty(AD 960-1127).
