摘　　要：On the western side of the continent of South America,between the north-south Andes Mountains and the Pacific,a narrow and long stretch of land in the Republic of Peru contains various natural features such as a river valley,desert and plateau.There are no large rivers or fertile land,but this area is home to the birthplace of one of the mostimportant prehistoric civilisations the Andeans.
