摘　　要：日本占据台湾地区之后,为了提高台湾地区水稻的生产规模和产量,采取了诸多措施,如改良水稻品种、推广三季稻、进行米谷检查、兴修水利工程、改进生产工具、改良栽培法等等,使得台湾地区水稻的栽培面积和产量均有了大幅度增长。这为日本人带来了巨大收益,客观上也改良了台湾地区稻种质量,促进了台湾地区稻作的近代化。然而,日据时期台湾地区增产的稻米,大多被运往日本本土消费或供给在台湾地区的日本人享用,台湾地区人民不仅没有因此获益,反倒是比日据之前付出更多的辛苦,最终却要靠杂粮裹腹。After the Japanese occupation of Taiwan region,many measures were takento increase Taiwan’s region rice production scale and output,such as improving rice varieties,popularizing three-season rice,conducting rice grain inspections,building water conservancy projects,invonating production tools,and improving cultivation methods,which increased Taiwan’s region rice cultivation area and yieldsubstantially,and brought huge economic benefits to Taiwan region GovernmentGeneral(Japanese colonial government in Taiwan region).However,the increase in rice production did not benefit the people of Taiwan region.During the period of Japanese occupation,most of the rice increased in Taiwan region was shipped to Japan for consumption or consumed by Japanese people in Taiwan region.The Taiwan region ese worked harder than ever before,and they still had to rely on miscellaneous grains.Objectively,Taiwan region GovernmentGeneral improved the quality of Taiwan's region rice seeds and promoted the modernization of Taiwan's region rice cultivation.
