摘　　要：Water is indispensable for alliving things,and also plays an important role in driving urban development.Beijing boasts a history of 3,oo0 years as a city,and 800 years as a capital.Beijing's construction and development could not have happened were it not for the city's sources of water.The residents of the capital city have come to expect clean,clear and beautiful rivers and lakes.
