摘　　要：A ccording to legend,Zhang Xianzhong(1606-1647),the Lleader ofa rebel army at the end of the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644),sank a large number of treasures into the Minjiang River following his defeat.However,for hundreds of years,there had been doubts about the truth of the legend.It was not until the archaeological excavationof theJiangkou Ancient Battlefield Site in 2017 that this ballad was verified.The Jiangkou Ancient Battlefield Site,also known as the Jiangkou Sunken Silver Site,is located in the Minjang Riverin Jiangkou Subdistrict,Pengshan District,Meishan City in Sichuan Province.It is a relatively well-preserved ancient battlefield site,where tens of thousands of cultural relics have been unearthed.Therefore,it was inscribed among the"Top 10 New Archaeological Discoveries in China"in 2017.
