摘　　要：Jiaozi Hutong stretches for over 600 metres(m)from Guang'anmennei Street in the north to Nanhengxi Street in the south of Beijing's Xicheng District.According to historical records,the hutong(alley)took shape during the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644).During its long history,its name has remainedunchanged.
