《猫城记》:软科幻恶托邦的现实推演与人文反思

摘　　要：老舍的小说《猫城记》一度受到评论界的冷遇,既有历史原因,也有文类属性的原因。它是老舍唯一一部描写外太空国度的虚构作品,兼具软科幻的人文性和恶托邦的寓言性,可以归类为一部软科幻恶托邦小说。猫国的国民性与梁启超对旧中国国民性的总结可谓一一对应,将猫国推向了国灭族亡的命运,而这也是当时的中国国情如果持续恶化的一种可能性结局,是老舍对现实的一种恶托邦式推演。同时,老舍怀着感时忧国之情对猫国的出路进行了深刻的人文反思,尽管他明白单打独斗式的英雄人物无法为猫国找到出路,但仍然只寄希望于优秀的领导者,没有充分意识到人民的力量。Lao She's novel,Cat Country,was once met with critical negligence due to its historical context and its genre.It is the only work that Lao She wrote about a country in the outer space,characteristic of the humanistic nature of soft science and allegorical nature of dystopia,and can be categorized as a soft science fiction dystopian novel.The national traits of the Cat Countrycorrespond to Liang Qichao's summary of the nationality of old China,leading the country to the fate of national extinction and ethnic extinction,which is also a possible ending if the national situation of China at that time continues to deteriorate,a kind of dystopian extrapolation of reality by Lao She.At the same time,Lao She's concern about his own country was also projected onto his deep reflection on the way out for Cat Country.Although he understands that the solitary heroic characters who fight alone cannot find a way out for the Cat Country,he still hopes for outstanding leaders and does not fully realize the power of the people.
