论《白鲸》和《海狼》中主人公的伦理选择

摘　　要：美国海洋小说《白鲸》和《海狼》经久不衰,重要原因是其蕴含的深刻的伦理价值。船长亚哈和拉森,无视伦理秩序,畸形的伦理选择导致悲剧的人物命运;以实玛利和凡·卫登则具有强烈的伦理觉悟,智慧的伦理选择使其成为幸存者。只有具有高度的伦理意识和理性的伦理选择方能规避伦理悲怆。An important reason for the enduring popularity of American Marine novels Moby-Dick and The Sea Wolf is their profound ethnic value.Captains Ahab and Larsen ignore the ethical oder and their deformed ethical choices lead to the tragic fates;Ishmael and Van Wyden have strong ethical awareness,and their wise ethical choices make them survive.Only with high ethical consciousness and rational ethical choice can the ethical sorrow be avoided.
