摘　　要：布赖特比尔是美国休闲研究的引领者之一,其休闲思想主要体现在休闲是一种创造性体验、休闲是人类内在的精神家园、休闲是个人生活方式的体现和休闲是塑造“成为人”的重要途径等方面。其休闲思想对当代产生了较为深远的影响,唤起了人们对休闲教育的重视,奠定了休闲学专业的学术地位,也为我国政府公共休闲服务提供了新思路。Charles K.Brightbill is one of the pioneers in American leisure research,and his ideas on leisure are mainly embodied in the following aspects:leisure is a creative experience;leisure is the inner spiritual home of humans;leisure is the embodiment of personal lifestyle;and leisure is an important way to shape“becoming a human being”.His ideas on leisure have had a far-reaching contemporary impact,which arousing people’s attention to leisure education,establishing the academic status of the specialty of leisure,and providing new ideas for our government’s public leisure service.
