摘　　要：从事件的角度来看五四新文学,它首先是一个自我推销的文学事件。为了在复杂的环境中脱颖而出,它顺应民主和科学的时代潮流,将其和自己的文学观念结合起来,抨击“文以载道”传统。同时,在对待传统、西方和不同意见者三个方面都采取偏激的姿态,鼓吹新体白话,塑造自己的导师姿态。为了突出新文学阵营在白话文运动中的作用,采取多种措施,既遮蔽晚清以来的白话文运动和当时的通俗文学成就,又无视政府对白话文的支持,从而成功地将自己包装成新体白话的立法者。新文学能产生深远影响,与这些自我推销的手段直接相关。From the perspective of the event,the May Fourth New Literature was first and foremost a self-promoting literary event.In order to stand out in this complex environment,it conformed to the zeitgeist of democracy and science,combining it with its own literary conceptions and attacking the tradition of“Writings are for conveying truth”.At the same time,it adopted a radical posture on tradition,the West and dissenters,advocating the new style of vernacular prose and shaping itself as a mentor.In order to highlight the role of the New Literature camp in the vernacular prose movement,various measures were taken,which not only obscured the vernacular movement since the late Qing Dynasty and the achievements of popular literature at that time,but also ignored the government’s support for vernacular prose,thus successfully packaging itself as a legislator in the new style of vernacular prose.The fact that the New Literature could have far-reaching effects is directly related to these self-promotion tactics.
