摘 要:针对以太网在高速传输、恶劣环境、突发流量等情况下传输可靠性降低引发频繁TCP协议重传,导致传输速率降低、传输时延增大、信道利用率低的问题,提出一种基于标识确认应答与链路层重传控制(Identification Confirmation and Reply-Link Layer Retransmission Control,ICR-LLRC)的硬件协同以太网可靠性增强设计,通过在以太网链路层增加标识确认与应答机制实现以太网链路层丢包检测,增加链路层重传控制与重传缓存区实现链路层丢包处理与重传。实验结果表明,该设计提高了以太网传输可靠性,在重传缓存区大小为128 bit*32(位宽*深度)的情况下,将丢包导致的重传时延降低54.7%,带宽收敛时,传输速率提高了29.1%。The reliability of Ethernet transmission deteriorates under the conditions of high-speed transmission,harsh environment and burst traffic,which frequently leads to TCP retransmission,resulting in reduced transmission rate,increased transmission delay,and low channel utilization.To address these issues,a hardware collaborative Ethernet reliability enhancement design based on identification confirmation and reply-link layer retransmission control(ICR-LLRC) is proposed.By adding the identification acknowledgement and reply mechanism to the Ethernet link layer,the Ethernet link layer packet loss detection is implemented.Furthermore,the link layer control and retransmission cache are introduced to realize the packet loss processing and retransmission at the link layer.Experimental results show that this design can improve the reliability of Ethernet transmission.When the size of retransmission cache is set to 128 bit*32(bit width*depth),the retransmission delay caused by packet loss is reduced to 54.7%,and the transmission rate is increased by 29.1% when the bandwidth converges.
