历史照片挖掘与研究的新路径——以海外英文网站藏广州历史照片为例

摘　　要：早期外国人拍摄的历史照片,是开展历史研究的重要资料和对象。进入网络信息时代后,获取历史资料的手段变得更加丰富,加之诸多收藏机构不断在互联网上公开其收藏的中国历史照片,且附加了相关的资料信息,这就为挖掘与研究历史照片提供了新的路径。该文以海外英文网站收藏并公布的广州历史照片为例,梳理在海外英文网站上查找广州历史照片的方法,并进一步开展历史照片相关信息整理,为历史照片的研究提供基础。在海外英文网站历史照片研究的路径上,该文从照片本身是否新发现、横向与纵向、局部与细节、单独与系统等多维度进行探讨,并论述了整理和研究海外英文网站历史照片具有重要的应用意义。Historical photos taken by early foreigners are important materials and objects for conducting historical research.After entering the era of network information,the means of obtaining historical data have become more abundant.In addition,many collection institutions have continuously disclosed their collection of history of China photos on the Internet,and attached relevant information,which provides a new path for mining and studying historical photos.This article takes the historical photos of Guangzhou collected and published on overseas English websites as examples to sort out the methods of searching for historical photos of Guangzhou on overseas English websites,and further organize information related to historical photos,providing a foundation for the study of historical photos.On the path of studying historical photos of overseas English websites,this article explores from multiple dimensions such as whether the photos themselves are newly discovered,horizontal and vertical,local and detailed,and individual and systematic,and discusses the important practical significance of organizing and studying historical photos of overseas English websites.
