迪士尼电影《花木兰》的本土化改编——从1998年动画到2020年真人版电影

摘　　要：受到中国《木兰诗》和花木兰民间故事的启发,迪士尼于1998年上映动画电影《花木兰》,2020年又翻拍了真人版《花木兰》电影。该文在跨文化传播的语境下进行迪士尼电影的本土化改编研究。首先,从最直接的经济利益层面剖析迪士尼电影《花木兰》的改编动机,论述了动画翻拍经验、行业内部竞争和海外市场开拓这三个主要外部推力。接着,文章从人物形象的再建构视角探究本土化改编路径,具体考察影视中的“木须龙”和“李翔”角色的删除、“花木兰”形象的延伸,讨论了文化、社会等因素影响下的花木兰故事的本土化重构及其必然性。最后,本文对此次《花木兰》的本土化改编进行思考,强调在当今全球化的大背景下,我们应以开放包容的心态去理解异质文化传播过程中被重构的现象,并以对话的方式积极进行文化交流。Inspired by The Mulan Ballad and the folktale of Hua Mulan,Disney released an animated film Mulan in 1998 and remade the live-action movie Mulan in 2020.The paper conducts a study on the localized adaptation of Disney's film in the context of cross-cultural communication.First,this paper analyzes the motivation for the adaptation of Disney's film Mulan at the level of the most direct economic interests,and discusses the forces of animation remaking experience,internal industry competition and overseas market development.Then,the paper explores the path of localized adaptation from the perspective of reconstructing character images;it specifically examines the deletion of the roles of Mushu and Li Xiang and the extension of the image of Mulan,demonstrating the localized reconstruction of Mulan's story and its inevitability under the influence of some factors.Finally,this paper reflects on the localization adaptation of Mulan and emphasizes that under the background of globalization,we should understand the phenomenon of reconstruction in the process of heterogeneous cultures with an open and inclusive mind,and actively carry out cultural exchanges in the way of dialogue.
