摘　　要：随着后现代主义实验小说逐渐衰退,菲利普·罗斯在其后期小说创作中放弃了曾经擅长的实验派写作技巧,重视社会现实题材,转向现实主义,但是其作品仍然呈现出现代主义和后现代主义的印记,这种转变标志着罗斯进入了新现实主义创作阶段。在这一时期罗斯的创作风格日益成熟,作品也反映出多种不同的艺术特征。对罗斯后期小说中的新现实主义艺术特征的研究有助于阐释他不断变化的创作风格,帮助学者了解美国文学的发展走向,进而实现推介的目的。With the gradual decline of post-modernism experimental novels,Philip Roth gave up the experimental writing skills he used to be good at,attached importance to the subject matter of social reality,and turned to realism in his later novels.However,his works still show the features of modernism and postmodernism,which marks that Roth has entered the stage of new realism.During this period,Roth’s creative style became increasingly mature,and his works also reflected a variety of artistic characteristics.The study on the artistic features of neo-realism in Roth’s later novels is helpful to explain his changing writing style and helps scholars understand the development trend of American literature so as to realize the purpose of promotion.
