摘　　要：官运显赫一时的石韫玉在嘉庆十二年(1807)革职后骤然辞官,为时人所不解。详细考察其革职原由,乃是广兴诬陷,嘉庆皇帝听信谗言。此次辞官对石韫玉的影响深远,将其人生明显分成了经世致用以立功和著书山林以立言两部分。通过对朝廷政治、社会民生以及石韫玉个人性格、遭遇的综合考察,其辞官原因在于政治腐败、社会黑暗与其远大志向、高洁自守之间的矛盾。有志而无望,遭受打击,心灰意冷下辞官以明哲保身,而这也是嘉庆一朝有志之士的普遍选择。After being promoted with several very important position in court,Shi Yunyu suddenly decided to resign and go home in the 12th year of the reign of Emperor Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty(1807 AD),which was puzzling for most contemporaries.After careful investigation,we believed that the surface reasons for his resignation and going home are two-fold:being framed by Guangxin and Emperor Jiaqing believed Guangxing’s words.The resignation had far-reaching influence on Shi Yunyu,which divided his life into two obvious parts:building fame by playing practical role in national administration and building self-image by writing books.Comprehensively surveying on contemporary politics in court,social living and his own character,we believed that the profound reason is the controversy between contemporary political and social corruption and his own ambitious inspiration and noble personality.He held high hopes but was hopeless in the end,he felt heart-broken after being framed,he resigned his position in order to save himself,and his choice is the general choice for most of these officials like him in the reign of Emperor Jiaqing.
