摘　　要：近代日本第一本有关江南的旅行指南《江南的名胜史迹》,通过与名胜史迹相链接的典故和诗歌铺陈江南深厚的文化底蕴,建构江南形象的同时规训读者的江南认识;由苏州精养轩旅馆出版的《苏州指南》则将精养轩旅馆包装成一家联通中日致力于所谓的“日中亲善”的旅馆,同时借助“日中快速联络船”的开通带来的便利条件打造江南游览“专线”,推动江南成为了近代日本人中国旅行的热门目的地。相较于日本情报机构公然阐明的对中国的征服、占领和侵略,近代日本有关江南的旅行指南则用一种天真无辜的浪漫想象构建与江南的“一体感”和“亲近感”,以此触发国民视江南为日本国土之延长线的殖民欲望,无形中参与并融入到了近代日本开展江南经营与殖民的历史话语中。In modern Japan,the first travel guide to Jiangnan(江南,the areas south of the Yangtze River),which was entitled Places of Historical Interest in Jiangnan(《江南的名胜史迹》),elaborated the profound cultural heritage of Jiangnan through allusions and poems associated with places of historical interest,and improved readers'understanding of Jiangnan while building up its image.A Guide to Suzhou(《苏州指南》)published by Jingyangxuan Hotel(精养轩旅馆)in Suzhou described the hotel as one committed to the so-called"Japan-China goodwill"(“日中亲善”)by connecting the two countries,and at the same time built a special route for travel with the help of the convenience brought about by the opening of the"Japan-China fast contact ship"(日中快速联络船),thus turning Jiangnan into a modern hot destination for the Japanese to travel in China.Compared with the conquest,occupation and invasion of China openly stated by the Japanese intelligence agency,modern Japanese travel guides to Jiangnan made use of an innocent and romantic imagination to construct a"sense of unity"and a"sense of closeness"with Jiangnan,so as to trigger the colonial desire of the Japanese nationals to regard Jiangnan as the extension of Japan's territory,and lead them to participate in and get them integrated into the historical discourse of modern Japan's operation and colonization of Jiangnan.
