“求真-务实”连续统评价模式下《周易·贲卦》英译探究

摘　　要：作为中国本土新生的翻译批评理论,译者行为批评理论对翻译实践具有强大的阐释力。以该理论中的“求真-务实”连续统评价模式为评价工具,探析了《周易·贲卦》四个通行译本的英译特征,将其译者行为合理程度公式化为:卫/贝本>理本>傅本>汪任本。秉承该理论的精神主旨,进一步认为:在评价翻译批评实践过程中,应摈弃传统的静态文本批评分析法,动态地从翻译内外因素分析译者行为、身份、角色化以及它们共同对目标语文本生成的影响,扬弃翻译活动中可能出现的各种因素,客观、全面、科学地发现问题、分析问题、解决问题,构建《周易》较为理想的英译复译本,以推动翻译批评理论的长足进步与发展。Translator Behavior Criticism,as the new Chinese innovative theory of translation criticism,has exerted great influence on translation practice.“Truth-seeking-Utility-attaining”Continuum Evaluation Model is one of the most effective evaluation tools from this theory.By this evaluation model,the English Translation of Bi(Adornment)Hexagram from four reliable versions has been analyzed with the formulaic conclusion of translators’rationality as:Richard Wihelm/Cary F.Bayne’s version>James Legge’s version>Fu Huisheng’s version>Wang Rongpei and Ren Xiuhua’s version.Given the gist of Translator Behavior Criticism,some suggestions are put forward toward translation criticism.That is to say,the static way of traditional text-based criticism ought to be abandoned and meanwhile,the dynamic way of analyzing translators’behavior,status,roles as well as their mutual effects toward the generation of the target text ought to be adopted.If all the negative factors were eliminated and all the composite positive factors constructed during the process of translating Zhou Yi,if related problems were objectively,comprehensively and scientifically detected,analyzed and resolved,the ideal retranslation version of Zhou Yi could be generated and thus the sound development and progress of perfecting translation criticism could also be achieved.
