摘　　要：人们仍在追求建造出更高的木结构建筑:Perkins&Will建筑事务所目前正在设计加拿大地球大厦,这是一座位于温哥华市中心的38层高的大楼,将住宅和办公两个功能结合在一起。该建筑一旦竣工,将成为世界上最高的木混结构建筑,也是世界上最高的被动能源建筑。这座建筑有六层是包含商店和办公室的基座,基座上面的31层则是住宅区域。The height record hunt in timberconstruction continues:architects Perkins&Will are currently planning Canada's Earth Tower,a 38-storey residential and office building for an inner-city location in Vancouver.On completion it wouldbe the world's highest timber-hybrid structureandtallest Passive House building.A further 31 residential storeys rise from a six-floor plinth with shops and offices.
