摘 要:在对听觉、视觉及视听觉混合加图片或电影加字幕等不同模态输入下二语词汇习得的频率效应研究梳理的基础上,发现阅读视觉模态对词汇知识的全部获得需要对词汇反复接触并逐渐提高,接触频率对输出知识的影响比输入知识的影响更大。阅读视觉与听力的双模态的现有研究表明,前者的频率较为明显并优于后者。视听混合加图片或电影加字幕的多模态的研究发现,视听加图片可有效提高学习者记忆,习得的频率效应明显;而电影加字幕或双模态加简笔画的多模态研究结果并不一致。在对注意力资源理论和涉身认知心理学理论分析基础上,提出多模态输入对词汇习得具有较好的频率效应,在词汇习得的频率效应研究中应该注重语言的涉身性对词汇习得的影响。This paper reviews the research on the frequency effect of second language vocabulary acquisition under different modes of input,such as auditory,visual,and audiovisual mixture plus pictures or films plus subtitles.The study of reading found that the acquisition of all vocabulary knowledge requires repeated exposure to vocabulary and gradually increase,and the impact of exposure frequency on output knowledge is greater than that of input knowledge.The results of bimodal research on reading and listening show that the frequency of the former is more obvious and superior to the latter.The multi-modal study of audiovisual mixing with pictures or films with subtitles found that audiovisual plus pictures can effectively improve learners’memory,and the frequency effect of acquisition is obvious;However,the multi-modal research results of adding subtitles to films or adding simplified strokes to dual-mode films are not consistent.The author analyzed the research with the attention resource theory and the theory of embodied cognitive psychology and proposed that multi-modal input has a good frequency effect on vocabulary acquisition.In the frequency effect research of vocabulary acquisition,attention should be paid to the influence of language embodiment on vocabulary acquisition.
