摘　　要：蒲若茜教授应《广东外语外贸大学学报》之邀接受以“亚裔美国文学研究历史与前沿”为主题的访谈,话题主要涉及亚/华裔美国文学的内涵与外延、亚裔美国文学研究路径和主要成果、亚裔美国文学主要研究问题及发展趋势。关于亚/华裔美国文学的内涵与外延,蒲若茜倾向于以“在语言和文化上的杂糅性和异质性”为评判亚/华裔美国文学标准,并深入挖掘“亚裔美国感”(Asian American Sensitivity)的本质特点、历史意义与局限;在亚裔美国文学研究路径和主要成果方面,蒲若茜及其研究团队实践从单一视角(西方理论视角或东方文化视角)到“跨界”(跨语言、跨文化、跨国别)研究的发展,以及从文本批评到理论建构的突破;最后,蒲若茜总结了亚裔美国文学主要研究问题及发展趋势,诸如亚裔美国文学研究的理论建构、亚裔美国文学的地方性品质、亚裔美国文学与人类命运共同体书写、世界华裔/华文文学研究、东南亚国家的族群文学、世界族裔文学关系新特征、非英语国家的英语文学等。她对这些问题的阐释有助于推动亚裔美国文学研究领域内的理论话语建设,促进华裔英语文学与海外华人文学的沟通与融合,丰富比较文学与世界文学研究的版图。Invited by Journal of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies,Professor Pu was interviewed on the theme“History and Frontiers of Asian American Literary Studies”.The interview covers the following topics:1)The origin and development of Asian American literature;2)The research methods and major achievements of Asian American literary studies in China;3)Suggestions for future studies on Asian American literature.Regarding the origin and development of Asian American literature,Professor Pu tends to apply“linguistic and cultural hybridity and heterogeneity”as criteria to evaluate Asian American literature,and delves into the essence,historical significance,and limitations of“Asian American Sensibility”to recognize Asian American identity.In terms of the research methods and major achievements of Asian American literary studies,Professor Pu and her research team have transitioned from a singular perspective(either Western theoretical perspective or Eastern cultural perspective)to the development of trans⁃boundary research that crosses linguistic,cultural and national boundaries,as well as made breakthroughs from textual criticism to theoretical constructions.Finally,Professor Pu suggests for future studies on Asian American literature,such as the theoretical construction of Asian/Chinese American literature,the localized qualities of Asian/Chinese American literature,the relation of Asian/Chinese American literature to community,etc.Her insights are promoting the construction of theoretical courses in the field of Asian American literary studies,increasing communications and integration between Chinese English literature and overseas Chinese literature,and enriching the scope of researches on comparative literature and world literature.
