摘　　要：在英国宣布脱欧后,英国文学界涌现出一批涉及脱欧事件的作品。这些作品虽然创作方式不同、讨论话题各异,但普遍涉及对立主题。其中,今与昔、国家主义与世界主义以及城市与乡村这三组对立在《秋》《切割》《蟑螂》《大麦地里的一切》等脱欧小说中频繁出现。这些对立主题不仅反映了当下存在于英国社会中的诸多现状,而且还暗示当代英国作家试图寻求超越此类对立和为英国社会发展谋求出路的尝试。对于这些普遍存在于脱欧文学作品中的对立主题,我们不仅要看到对立冲突的表象,也要深入思考其背后深藏的问题。作家在呈现这些对立主题时往往不是简单地以揭露一个或一类现象为目的,而是试图超越这些出现在文本中的对立表征,达成某种更高层面上的统一。这反映了他们对时代不同程度上的理解与关怀。英国脱欧这样一个特殊而具有划时代意义的历史事件使许多时代问题得到集中爆发与释放,这些或新或旧的问题被以不同的方式反映或表达在文学作品中。作家在对这些问题的揭露与讨论中试图给出自己的“药方”,表达一种感性的期望。这是当代脱欧文学的特性和魅力所在,同时也是其与以往文学的共性所在。Following the announcement of the Britain's departure from the European Union,a number of works dealing with the events of Brexit have emerged in British literature.These works,written in different ways and discussing different topics,generally involve the theme of opposition.Three sets of oppositions—past and present,nationalism and cosmopolitanism,and city and countryside—frequently appear in such Brexlit fictions as Autumn,The Cut,The Cockroach and All Among the Barley.These themes of opposition not only reflect the current state of affairs in British society,but also hint at attempts of contemporary British writers to transcend these oppositions and find a way out for British society.In the understanding of the theme of opposition prevalent in the Brexlit,it is necessary to focus on the phenomena of opposition,and to ponder over the problems behind them.In presenting these themes of opposition,novelists often do not simply aim to expose one or a certain type of phenomenon,but meanwhile try to transcend them in their texts so as to reach a higher level of unity.This reflects their concerns for the age in different degrees.Such a special and epoch⁃making historical event as the Brexit has led to a concentrated explosion and release of many issues,be it new or old,which are reflected or expressed in literature in different ways.In exposing and discussing these problems,the novelists try to give their own“remedies”and express their perceptual expectations.Such are the characteristics and charms of Brexlit,and also its commonality with the literature of the previous ages.
