摘　　要：目的梳理分析外籍护理先驱对中国近代护理事业发展的贡献,坚定当代护理的发展方向。方法通过史料梳理,分析以美国来华护士信宝珠为代表的外籍护士在中国早期护理发展中的角色作用与贡献。结果外籍护理先驱促成并推动了中国护理学术组织的创建与发展,并在中国近代护理教育规范化、护理职业化及中国护理文化形成等方面发挥了重要作用。结论外籍护理先驱促进了中国早期护理的专业化发展,与中国护理先贤为中国近代护理的发展奠定了坚实基础,激励着当代护理工作者坚定护理信念,反思过去,谋划未来。Objective To summarize the contribution of foreign nursing pioneers to the development of modern nursing in China,and confirme the direction of contemporary nursing development.Methods The historical data were systematic reviewed.The role and contribution of foreign nurses which is represented by American nurse Cora E Simpson,to the development of early nursing in China were summarized and analyzed.Results Foreign nursing pioneers promoted the establishment of Chinese nursing academic organization,and played an important role on the development of nursing education,nursing professionalization and nursing culture during modern nursing history in China.Conclusion Foreign nursing pioneers contributed to the professional development of early nursing in China,and laid foundation for the modern nursing development with Chinese nurses.Contemporary nurses should reflect on the past and firm professional belief.
