摘  要:1901年,匹兹堡卡内基图书馆儿童图书馆员培训学校正式成立,这是美国第一所专门培养儿童图书馆员的教育机构。文章通过史料梳理,对培训学校的发展历程、培养方式、课程设置、师资团队和教育理念进行分析。该校在美国公共图书馆儿童服务全面兴起的背景下诞生,匹兹堡卡内基图书馆领先的儿童服务是其办学基础。学校强调实践的重要性,重视儿童图书馆员的个性素质,积极开展跨学科、跨领域的合作,为美国儿童图书馆事业培养了大量人才。The Carnegie Library Training School for Children’s Librarians in Pittsburgh was established in 1901,which was the first educational institution specializing in training children’s librarians.The article analyzes the development history,training methods,curricula,faculty and educational philosophy of the training school through historical combing.The Training School was based on the leading children’s services of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh,when the children’s services were burgeoning in the public libraries of the United States.The Training School emphasized the importance of practice,the natural qualities of children’s librarians,and actively interdisciplinary cooperation.It trained a large number of talents and greatly contributed to the children’s librarianship.
