摘　　要：现代学术话语体系中的“杂传”是重新命名的结果,是指中国古代正史以外的与列传相类的所有作品。中国古代杂传创作源远流长,具有兼文兼史的文体属性,杂传的史学属性,来自其作为史部一类的基本身份;杂传的文学属性,则与其文学化的书写取向息息相关。承认杂传的文学属性,并赋予杂传文学身份,这无疑将打破对杂传的许多固有认识,有助于在更加开阔的视阈下审视杂传及其历史发展,也有助于更加客观、充分地认识中国古代杂传的价值与意义。The name"miscellaneous biographies"in the modern academic discourse system is the result of renaming,which refers to all the works similar to biography other than the official history of ancient China.The creation of miscellane-ous biographies in ancient China have a long history and have the stylistic attribute of both literature and history.The histori-ographical attribute of miscellaneous biographies comes from its basic identity as a kind of history branch.'The literaty attrib-ute of miscellaneous biographies is closely related to its literary writing orientation.Recognizing the literary attribute of mis-cellaneous biographies and giving miscellaneous biographies literary identity will undoubtedly break many inherent under-standings of misellaneous biographies,which helps to examine misellaneous biographies and their historical development from a broader perspective,and helps to understand the value and significance of miscellancous biographies in ancient China more objectively and comprehensively.
