摘　　要：民主是全人类共同的价值追求。全过程人民民主是中国特色社会主义民主的最新表述。从理论之维来看,马克思主义民主理论和中国共产党的民主理论是全过程人民民主的理论基础。从内涵之维来看,全过程人民民主的出发点和落脚点是维护人民根本利益,其价值追求是人民享有充分的民主权利,其必然要求是全过程。从价值之维来看,全过程人民民主是对马克思主义民主政治理论的原创性贡献,进一步凸显了民主的广泛性和真实性,在满足人民美好政治生活需要的同时,提升国家治理效能,为人类政治文明贡献了中国智慧。Democracy is the common value of all mankind.The whole-process people’s democracy is the latest expression of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics.From the theoretical dimension,Marxist democratic theory and the democratic theory of the Communist Party of China form the theoretical basis of the whole-process people’s democracy.From the connotation dimension,the starting point and foothold of the whole-process people’s democracy is to safeguard the fundamental interests of the people,its political value pursuit is that people enjoy full democratic rights,and its inevitable demand is the whole process.From the value dimension,the whole-process people’s democracy,as an original contribution to the Marxist theory of democratic politics,further highlights the universality and authenticity of democracy,thus while meeting the needs of the people for a better political life,it improves the effectiveness of national governance,and contributes Chinese wisdom to the political civilization of mankind.
