As for the global ecological crisis, science fiction writers in Chinese Taiwan in the new century, represented by Wu Mingyi,Yi Geyan, and Gao Yifeng, have keenly observed the drastic changes in history and reality and pushed the dual interaction between science fiction and ecology to a new height by adjusting the boundaries of literary genres and aesthetic forms. They consciously explore themes such as post-apocalyptic disasters, ecological healing, and natural ethics in works like The Man with Compound Eyes,Ground Zero, and 2069,with a sharp criticism on oppressive societies,a reverence for nature, and promotion of a philosophy of symbiosis, delving into the ecological imagination of new Earth and new species in the context of the "Anthropocene"concept. This transcendent thinking not only effectively addresses long-standing environmental problems and shortcomings of civilization that have plagued Taiwan, but also reflects the sense of responsibility and mission that contemporary intellectuals should possess, prompting the public to develop a deeper perception of the relationship between human andnature.
