重思历史变迁的认知逻辑:历史政治学视阈下的新封建主义

摘　　要：虽然在理解宏观历史变迁方面存在明显的认识论偏见,但以目的论、阶段论和本质主义为特征的科学研究纲领依然主宰着当代社会科学研究者的思考方式与分析逻辑。“新封建主义”的社会形态对这一研究纲领的“硬核”构成了根本挑战,它呈现出封建―殖民时代的社会结构、阶级关系与那些富有现代性的制度设计与价值观念“不可思议”的组合——“传统”与“现代”之间的森严壁垒被打破,旧世界的权力精英反而成为“好制度”与“好政策”的坚定支持者。在形成机理层面,社会史的历史本体属性孕育了新封建主义的基本特征,社会结构的约束力在时间空间化的动力机制下不断叠加而孕育出捍卫既有秩序的权力精英,最终形成了强大的历史延续性。在知识积累的层面,新封建主义重申了现代化道路的多重可能,同时为理解第三世界的政治社会形态提供了新的方式。Despite their obvious epistemological bias in understanding macro-historical changes,the scientific research programs characterized by teleology,stage theories,and essentialism continue to dominate the thinking pattern and analytical approach adopted by contemporary scholars of social sciences.The social pattern of neo-feudalism poses a fundamental challenge to the core of these research programs.The so-called neo-feudalism presents an unbelievable combination of feudal-colonial social structures with class relations as well as modern institutions and values.The once rigid barriers between"tradition"and"modernity"are now torn down,and the old-world powerful elites turn into firm supporters of good institutions and good policies.Viewed from the mechanism of its formation,the historical ontological property of social history nurtures the main characteristics of neo-feudalism,and a social structure's force of regulation is superimposed under the mechanism that spatializes time to produce powerful elites who defend the established order and eventually form a strong historical continuity.Viewed from the point of knowledge accumulation,the concept of neo-feudalism reaffirms the multiple possibilities toward modernization,and provides new ways to understand political and social forms in the Third World.
