摘　　要：法治公安是指公安机关在宪法和法律的范围内履行职责,保护人民权利,维护社会治安和国家安全,使公安机关各项工作在法治轨道运行的状态。法治公安建设应符合建设社会主义法治国家的总目标,必须坚持中国共产党的绝对领导,坚持以宪法为根本活动准则,针对当前公安工作中的突出矛盾,以《人民警察法》修改为牵引,以公安工作改革为抓手,以公安执法规范化建设为核心,以限制公安机关领导干部权力为关键,以基层公安机关建设为重点,使公安工作的各方面都严格依法运行,实现公安工作法治化。The law-abiding public security refers to the state that the public security organs perform their duties within the constitution and the laws,protect people's rights,maintain good public order and national security,so as to assure the running of public security organs’work on legal track.Law-abiding public security construction should conform to the general goal of the socialist national legal construction,stick to the absolute leadership of the Chinese Communist Party,and abide by constitution.In the face of the prominent issues for the present policing work,to realize the legal public security,driven by the modification of the people's police law,we should carry out public security reform,construct standardized law enforcement,limit leading cadres’power,and develop grass-roots public security organs.
