摘　　要：设计既是名词又是动词,有图样、图案、计划、构思之意。在人类历史上每一次的技术革命都会为社会带来巨大的变动,设计的定义及内涵也随着技术的革新而改变。而随着世界已经被高度审美化和泛艺术化,我们更加迫切地需要找寻设计的初衷及其意义所在,以期从不同的角度启迪设计实践创新。本文以视觉传达设计这一学科为例,梳理其转型的技术导向原因,举例分析其中技术与艺术的联系,认为视觉传达设计是现代技术的载体也是承载艺术的桥梁。Design is both a noun and a verb,with the meaning of pattern,pattern,plan and conception.Every technological revolution in human history will bring great changes to the society,and the definition and connotation of design will also change with the innovation of technology.As the world has been highly aestheticized and pan-artistic,we have a more urgent need to find the original intention and significance of design,in order to inspire the innovation of design practice from different perspectives.This paper takes the discipline of visual communication design as an example,sorts out the reasons of its transformation,analyzes the connection between technology and art for example,and thinks that visual communication design is the carrier of modern technology and the bridge to carry art.
