摘  要:瓦格纳的“总体艺术作品”概念是他最著名的思想之一,对后世艺术家产生了深远影响。尽管越来越多的艺术家将自己的创作称为“总体艺术作品”,但这一概念的真正含义一直备受争议。“总体艺术作品”通常被看作各艺术门类在一部作品中的综合,但其中还包含着一个更深刻的政治维度。瓦格纳认为“总体艺术作品”是一种准政治概念。他的这一独特理解是受到了古希腊悲剧和城邦政治的启发,只有在古希腊的背景下,瓦格纳对歌剧和当时社会的批判,以及“总体艺术作品”概念中的政治维度,才能被充分理解和把握。此外,对“总体艺术作品”中政治维度的发掘将有助于澄清思想史上一个长期存在的对瓦格纳的误解,即他是纳粹主义的思想先驱。Wagner's concept of the"total work of art"is undeniably one of his most renowned ideas.It has had a profound influence on subsequent generations of artists,many of whom have referred to their artistic creations as"total works of art".But the true meaning of the concept has been much debated.It is often regarded as the synthesis of various art forms within a single work.However,this concept also has a deeper political dimension.Wagner conceived the"total work of art"as a quasi-political concept.His unique understanding was influenced by ancient Greek tragedy and the politics in polis.It is only in the context of ancient Greece that Wagner's critique of opera and society,as well as the political dimension of the"total work of art"can be fully understood.Furthermore,the exploration of the political dimension within the"total work of art"can help clarify a long-standing misunderstanding in the intellectual history of Wagner as an ideological precursor to Nazism.
