新格律派视角下的汪榕培《诗经》英译探析

摘　　要：王宏印将汪榕培英译中国古典诗歌实践识解与认定为“新格律派”。本文通过梳理汪榕培英译本《诗经》中“典故淡化”“主题革新”属性的译介实务,具体探析王宏印关于汪榕培英译中国古代经典诗歌具有“新格律派”翻译特质的研究观点,以期深度体会汪榕培在英译中国古典诗歌实务中,超越阅读认知理性、变通解读行为规范的跨文化译介与交际的核心视点与对应方法。Professor Wang Hongyin concludes that Wang Rongpei's act of translating ancient Chinese poems into modern English is supposed to be identified as the neo-metrical pattern,which is to be justified in the proper exemplification of Wang Rongpei’s English version of Shijing with reference to two operational measures,i.e.idiomatic comprehensibility and thematic experiment.Under the perspective of the critical view of Wang Hongyin,the corresponding textual analysis of their respective properties then relates to the transcendence of cognitive comprehension and the construction of behavioral communication as the accessible new horizon and operation as well in the cross-cultural exploration of Wang Rongpei's pronounced habitus of communicative style of translating classical poems.
