摘　　要：水利是发展农业的命脉,更是人类生存的根本,是关系国计民生的大事,是推动社会前进的动力,在国家发展全局中具有基础性、战略性、先导性作用。在水利建设中,要严格遵循党中央对水利建设所做的系列政策和指示,坚持现代化水利发展理念和水利科学技术,让水利建设融入中国可持续发展的道路上,真正让水利事业为人类发挥更大的作用。文章所探讨的是如何发挥现代化水利工程建设,让其充分发挥自身效益,更好地提升经济发展,推动社会进步。Water conservancy is the lifeblood of agricultural development.It is also the fundamental of human survival and has a major relationship to the national economy and people's livelihood.It is the driving force for social progress and has a fundamental,strategic and guiding role in the overall development of the country.In water conservancy construction,it is necessary to strictly follow the series of policies and instructions made by the Party Central Committee on water conservancy construction,adhere to the modern concept of water conservancy development and water conservancy science and technology.Water conservancy construction should be integrated into the path of sustainable development in China.It should be enabled to play a greater role for humanity.How to give full play to the construction of modern water conservancy projects,and let it give full play to its own benefits,better enhance economic development,and promote social progress is discussed in this paper.
