摘　　要：从军经历的政治效应一直得到国际学界关注,但并未形成一致结论。国内学者对从军经历的政治社会影响整体关注较少,为数不多的研究主要探讨从军经历的经济社会影响,较少关注从军经历带来的政治效应。文章利用“中国家庭追踪调查”形成的面板数据,研究了从军经历对地方政府评价的影响。研究发现,从军经历可以通过提升退役军人的生活满意度、社会保障水平、社会地位和未来信心,从而提高其地方政府评价。然而,从军经历也可能增加退役军人对治理问题严重性的感知,这在一定程度上削弱了从军经历对地方政府评价的积极影响。本研究对进一步完善退役军人的管理和保障,推进拥军优属,促进退役军人与地方政府间的良好互动,维护社会稳定和国家安全,促进军队现代化建设等方面有一定的政策启示。Despite considerable academic interest,there is still no consensus on how military experience affects politics.Exiting domestic literature offers a sparse exploration of the significance of military experience,focusing predominantly on its economic and social effects while largely neglecting its political implications.To address this problem,this paper,utilizing the panel data obtained from“China Family Panel Studies”,investigates the influence of military experience on public evaluations of local governments.It is discovered that military experience can enhance the life satisfaction,social security,societal status,and future prospects,thereby contributing to a more favorable evaluation of local governments.However,military service may also heighten retired military personnel s awareness of societal issues,which could counterbalance the positive impact on their evaluation of local governments.This paper has certain policy implications for further enhancing management and welfare measures for retired military personnel,promoting targeted efforts to recruit outstanding individuals into military,fostering positive interactions between retired military personnel and local governments,ensuring social stability and national security,and advancing military modernization.
