顾沅的实学精神与《吴郡名贤图传赞》的纂辑

摘　　要：顾沅是著名的藏书家兼学者,致力于苏州地方文献的编纂与刊刻。《吴郡名贤图传赞》是他主持编纂的规模最大的一部地方名贤画传,与以抒情性、写意性见长的其他画传不同,《吴郡名贤图传赞》中的图像皆有所本,像各有赞,传记简博,并在参撰人员广为搜罗、实地探访的基础上,增加了当时仍可寻访到的传主墓祠地址及传主故实,具有较高的学术价值。同时,此书以尚友古人、激扬忠孝为编纂宗旨,寄托了顾沅等学者在国家积贫积弱、列强蠢蠢欲动时期“济天下”的情怀,体现了他们经世致用的治学精神。Gu Yuan is a book collector and scholar in Suzhou.He has been committed to the compilation and publication of Suzhou local documents.Wujun Mingxian Tu Zhuanzan is the largest painting biography of local sages compiled by him.It is different from the previous painting biographies that are good at lyricism and freehand brushwork.The images in Wujun Mingxian Tu Zhuanzan have their own versions with brief biographies.On the basis of extensive search and field visits by participants from all over Suzhou,it adds the address of the tomb temple and the facts spread among the people,so it has high academic value.And this book is compiled for the purpose of upholding friendship with the ancients and promoting loyalty and filial piety.At the same time,it has the feelings of Gu Yuan and other scholars during the period when the country was poor and the great powers were about to invade,and reflects their academic spirit of“practical application”.
