追寻慈母幻影的小男孩——爱伦·坡作品女性原型之心理传记学研究  

A Little Boy Chasing the Illusion of a Motherly Figure——A Psychobiographical Study of Famele Archetypes in Edgar Allan Poe's Works

摘　　要：美国作家埃德加·爱伦·坡所处的年代正是美国浪漫主义兴盛的时期,而他却沉醉于死亡与恐怖的主题。结合爱伦·坡的传记材料,运用亚历山大的“凸显性指标”以及舒尔茨提出的“原型场景”,对爱伦·坡的作品、与朋友的信件等材料进行筛选和分析,提出童年期母亲形象不断逝去带来的对死亡的焦虑和恐惧、成长过程中爱与归属的渴望难以被满足,孕育了爱伦·坡“美丽女子的香消玉殒”的创作主题。Ji Yilin;School of Education,Tianjin University;The era in which American writer Edgar Allan Poe lived was a flourishing period of American Romanticism.However,he became deeply immersed in themes of death and horror.By combining biographical material on Poe,employing Alexander's“salience indicators,”and utilizing Schultz's concept of“archetypal scenes”along with the selection and analysis of Poe's works,as well as his letters to friends and other related materials,this paper proposes that the constant loss of the motherly figure during his childhood instilled anxiety and fear of death,and the unfulfilled longing for love and belonging throughout his growth process are the main reasons which give birth to Poe's recurring theme of the“beautiful woman's tragic demise”.
