老龄化社会条件下云南狄青寺的养老事业

摘　　要：佛教的生死观和生命关怀理论可以为老人提供心理支持,改变其已有的心理防御机制,减轻其死亡焦虑。云南狄青寺通过创办安养院、建立临终关怀医院、进行临终助念、提供佛化殡仪等实践,积极投身于社会养老事业,取得了良好的社会效果。狄青寺养老事业的特点和优势在于工作人员、义工认同佛教的慈悲精神,具有一定的公益性质,服务周到,养身安心。其薄弱之处在于资金匮乏以及政策支持不足,义工流动性大,安养院和临终关怀医院规模有限,存在一定的困难。Buddhist views on life and death and theories on caring for life can provide psychological support for the elderly,change their existing psychological defense mechanisms,and alleviate their anxiety about death.Diqing Temple in Yunnan province actively engages in social elderly care by establishing nursing homes,setting up hospice care hospitals,providing assistance and chanting during the dying process,and offering Buddhist funeral services and other practices.These practices have achieved positive social effects.The characteristics and advantages of the elderly care career in Diqing Temple lie in the fact that the staff and volunteers embrace emotional identification with the Buddhist spirit of mercy and the elderly care career has a certain public welfare nature,providing comprehensive and considerate services that promote physical and mental well-being.Its weaknesses are the lack of funding and sufficient policy support,frequent mobility of volunteers,limited scale of nursing homes and hospice care hospitals,which causes certain difficulties.
