摘　　要：通过梳理民国时期哈佛燕京图书馆档案,从方志采购的背景、经费、时间、方式、来源与成效等方面对民国时期该馆方志收集历史开展研究与分析,揭示其对哈佛燕京图书馆早期馆藏建设以及哈佛大学乃至北美中国研究的影响,为方志流播海外的历史研究提供参考。By sorting out the archives of Harvard-Yenching Library,this paper studies and analyzes the origin and development of the Chinese local gazetteers collection of the library during the Republic of China,from the background,funds,methods,sources,processes,to the impact of the purchases.This paper thus reveals the collection's influence on the early collection development of Harvard-Yenching Library,and more broadly on Chinese studies at Harvard University and in North America.By doing so,the paper provides a reference for the studies on the circulation of Chinese local gazetteers overseas.
